"One stop spot for a great afternoon"
Beautifully constructed pier, great for fishing. Inside the shop they sell lines, fishing poles (even toy poles for children). If you're not into fishing, check out the jellyfish that float below at the end, or walk along the beach nearby. They have a restaurant that has a nice menu, and like another reviewer said, will clean and cook your catch. It is a great, relaxing spot to visit.

Anytime is a good time to try your fishing luck on the Nags Head Pier, one of the oldest and longest on the Outer Banks. Tackle is available for rent, as is a cleaning station. The pier is open twenty-four hours a day in spring, summer, and fall. The Pier House Restaurant located here will even clean and cook your catch.
