"twice tipped?"
I ate there with my 3 kids, food was good, not great, and definately overpriced - however they are gonna hear from me if they added a 20% tip on my bill without me knowing it. I did tip about 12% only cause the people were very friendly which was so obiously fake. Lower the price and the room temperature, and you might have more seats filled in the good location restaurant.

"Disappointed with this restaurant"
We arrived in Solvang in the late afternoon/early evening. Some of the restaurants were already closed. We (me, hubby and our growing boy) were very hungry and we felt fortunate to have found this place open until we ate there...
This restaurant is conveniently located across from the town's park. It has a homey feel to it. The owner/staff seemed friendly at first. Service was sub-par. The food was edible, but nothing extraordinary. It was over-priced for what we got.
The thing that annoyed me was that the owner had put an automatic 20% tip on our bill as we were paying at the counter. That's bad business.
