Friday free to all
The 20,000-square-foot building was built in 1920 and houses the Robert Gumbiner Foundation collection of Latin American art (since the 1940s), galleries for temporary showings, Viva Cafe and Museum Store, a research library, and a performance area.
This is one of my favorite museums because of the great latino art on display. The staff was very helpful and didn't make any "Oh no, they have kids!" face. There were also plenty of children's items in the museum store. I will definitely be checking out this museum again.
