"Great place no matter the weather"

I love that they have so many different activities and indoor and outdoor water park and amusement park areas.  The week we went last time it was only in the 60's most days and it was in August!  We played in the outdoor water park during the warmer times and used the indoor park and rode the roller coasters and drove the go carts when it was chilly.  They even had go carts that my 6 year old could drive by herself!

We stayed right on the property, nice rooms, no breakfast but they did have a refrigerator and microwave in the rooms so you could make your own food (we brought our own food for breakfast and lunch so we could eat when it was convenient and not have to pay the high prices of restaurants in the resort area for every meal and enjoyed a nice dinner out each night).  They have late night hours just for their hotel guests where the park closes for a little while then open up certain rides 1/2 hour later with free soda pop stands around the park.   That was a lot of fun for the kids because there were no lines at night for most rides and those that did, they were very short compared to the day time!

The thing to watch for, all the people from their company trying to sell you time shares!  They were all over the place and would offer you tickets to different attractions if you sat through their presentation.    Don't waste your time!

"You will never see me here again"

This was the worst place I have ever been! The crowd is TERRIBLE they offer free tickets at almost every hotel in the Dells and it gets WAY too crowded, I've never waited in line to go on a waterslide for 2+ hours, except for here. Nothing exciting there! Prices are AWFUL, service is worse and the Poseidons rage wavepool is extremely dangerous, I almost died in it and would never ever go in it again.

"Fun Fun Fun!"

This park has lots to offer fun for all ages. It is a bit pricey...but it will take up an entire day...they have an amusement park, go-carts, and lots of water slides including a very LARGE AND FAST water-slide. some hotels offer free waterpark passes if you stay with them...but the rooms at Hotel Rome are very themed and not so cozy! But the park itself will be a great hit with your family..so don't plan too much on the day you go here because there just isn't enough time :)

"Not so impressed in the winter months"

We went during the winter months and stayed at the hotel connected to Mt. Olympus and heard a ton of complaints. It is very small and only features a few water slides for enjoyment of older children and adults. There is a large kiddy area for the little ones to play and have water fun. The prices are so high for drinks and you are not allowed to bring in anything. It looks fun with all of the outside items they offer but in the winter it is not very entertaining!

"Mount Olympus Water park"

This water park is really nice, but my children are all young-3 and under. For my family, it just wasn't conducive to a really good time, because the little tots spot in the water park is quite small. One slide, 2 swings, a few water gushers, and that's about it. I am sure that older children, who can ride the rides would enjoy this park a great deal.

"Awesome Amusement Park for Everyone"

This Park kicks butt @ night. We went on a Sunday night because they have Mt. Olympus after dark which is only $10 from 10pm-3am which was awesome!!  Sundays only, I'm sure because everyone is heading back home so it's probably not as busy but it was worth staying out that late plus the kids had a blast and they have some pretty cool roller coasters ADULT SIZE FUN kind.  They have this huge wave pool, beach sand with volley ball nets....water rides ...nice, I didn't even think of Noah's Ark..:D

"Fun for all the kids"

We traveled to the Wisconsin Dells with my husband and our kids 5-11 during Christmas holidays. Since it's wintertime, we spent the entire time inside at the water park. The indoor park had two large tube slides and two large 'regular' slide, along with lazy river, activity pool, and toddler area. We had gotten up early and got to the park around 10:30am which was perfect because by 1:00 PM, it was a madhouse here. We've got 4 kids, so it was a bit stressful for us trying to man all the kids. If you're with smaller kids, you might want to put them in a life jacket just to give you a peace of mind. All of our kids are strong swimmers and we were still busy trying to keep tabs on them all.

The pricing of the park is decent, but be prepared to shell-out some dough for lunch. There were plenty of guards on duty, and when things got busy in early afternoon, also saw some correcting kids on not following rules (a good thing - was not an unruly place).

There's also an indoor theme park which is great after you've dried off and want some dry fun. I'm sure this place is very quiet on non-holiday winter weekends, but unfortunately not doable for us East Coasters.
