"Wonderful Hike"

A hike up mount Helena is a great way to spend a sunny afternoon. Parking available at the bottom as well as outhouses. With a wide variety of trails, the hike ranges from novice to difficult. Beautiful scenery and wildlife along the way. The top is a sight to behold with a wonderful view of the Helena area. Totally worth the challenge!

"Great family hiking!"

This in-town park is has many choices of hiking trails, all of which lead to the summit, which offers beautiful views of the entire Helena valley and town.  It takes about an hour to climb at a decent clip, and is very do-able for tough elementary age kids.  Also a great workout for grownups who want to pack a kid or go quickly.
