"Great Camps!"

Whether zipping through the redwood canopy trees, competing in an adventure race, climbing one of the climbing walls, eating delicious food prepared by culinary chefs, or taking time to enjoy a speaker and drawing closer to God, Mount Hermon offers fun and activities for the whole family, individually or together.

Activities:
Recently my husband and I went to a conference through CCCA at Mount Hermon and had a blast participating in all of the activities the staff had prepared for us to partake in.  There was so much to do, we rarely had any down time, which we both really enjoyed.  We loved watching kids and adults take off into the redwood trees on the canopy tour which combined zip lines, rope bridges, and information about the trees into a fun filled, informative 2 hour tour.

Also offered to us, was volleyball, basketball, 2 climbing walls, archery, mountain bikes, hiking, kayaking, surfing, and more.  They have a big, newly built rec center which houses a full size 2 story climbing wall, basketball courts, with volleyball or badmitton options.  Upstairs you'll find a very large room with free air hockey tables, ping pong tables, table shuffleboard, and more.

Conferences/Camps:
If you're interested in visiting Mount Hermon, advance reservations and a minimum group size is required.  However, if you would like to attend a specific camp or conference, check their website online to find out the dates and times of upcoming camps.  Mount Hermon offers women's retreats, men's retreats, kids camps, day camps, science camps for kids, writers/songwriters conferences, and so much more!

One of the unique things we found while attending our conference there, was that Mount Hermon offers very large camps and conferences, but somehow manages to keep the intimate feel throughout the time spent there.  We had a chance to meet many new people, yet at the same time we felt that we had enough time to reflect on our own personal growth, ministry, and family.  We would definitely recommend Mount Hermon to anybody who wants to get away from the daily grind and experience fun with friends or family!
