"Playground in San Fran's Marina"

This is a fun playground for toddlers and babies.  I haven't yet taken my 8 month old here, but if I happen to be in the Fort Mason/Marina area and need a play structure or swings, this playground is in good shape.  The surrounding area is full of great walking space.  From the convenience of this playground, you can push your baby stroller to beautiful Fort Mason just across the street or jog along the biking trail that extends from Fort Mason, past the Marina and Crissy Field to the Presidio.  Great location!

"great park for kids"

We were driving on Chestnut St. in the Marina, heading out, talking about maybe going to Golden Gate Park for the kids (we do not live in SF).  We passed the Moscone Rec. Ctr. and saw their playground, and our kids went crazy.  We must have played for two hours easy.  There was something for both boys (ages 20 mos. and 4 yrs.) and plenty of seating for parents.  There is an enclosed sand box for toddlers as well as a toddler only sand dune.  The jungle gyms were friendly for both boys, although one is meant for 5-12 yr olds.  They even have an adult sized swing.  It's a great park, and it wasn't too busy, even at 4:30 on a Tuesday.
