"Favorite local beach"

We LOVE Moonlight beach in encitetas!!!  Free parking, bathrooms, volleyball, a playground, and the coolest feature, is the snack shack.  One of the few left in San Diego!!  A very family friendly area, cliffs on one side, long beach on the other.  Best of all SD beaches have to offer!

"Moonlight State Beach"

We love this playground that is adjacent to the beach. The playground is good for kids 2 and older. Sand covers the ground. A walk to the beach takes about 30 seconds. There is a huge parking lot above the beach that is free.
The E Street Cafe around the corner is great for lunch. Encinitas is a small town with a few shops and lots of cafes. Not too far of a drive from San Diego.
