"Great "old school" park"

So much fun for my 2 and 3 yr olds. They had old school merry-go-round and teeter totters. My girls LOVED them. You don't often find these at parks anymore. They also had a fenced-in tot play area that we played in with unique equipment.

The largest area in the park looked great. It was a huge wooden playground (slides, etc. that is not made of the most commonly used plastic equipment seen at most parks these days.) We will go back and visit just to explore this area in the future. We didn't venture into that area yesterday because the Reading/Berks Co. YMCA seemed to be having a day camp mostly in that area. It was very crowded.

The park also has a lot of covered pavilions.

But MOST IMPORTANT - we were not too hot on the 90 degree day that we visited because the park is mostly shaded (eventhough it is HUGE) by trees! It's one of the only parks I've found in the area that is shaded!

We highly recommend this park.
