"Gentle Waves are Perfect for Tots"

Miramar Beach is protected by Pillar Point to the north, so the waves are quite small and the beach is long and flat.  The sand is quite firm and damp, which makes it great for walking.
My 5 and 2 year olds love this beach because the water is so gentle.  Dogs are allowed off-leash at this beach, so I like to call it "Miramutt".  If you don't like dogs, this is definitely not the beach for you.  

After your beach time, head to Blue Sky Coffee about 1/4 mile south on Hwy 1.
