One of the things me and my husband like to do is spend time doing something for ourselves. This was the perfect opportunity to do just that. We booked our appointments at different times so that one of us was getting a treatment while the other was spending time with our daughter.
When you book your appoinment you are invited to spend time before and or after your treatment in the spa facilities, which include steam rooms, saunas, whirlpools and relaxation lounge. This is included if you are getting a treatment, if you would like to use the facility and not get a treatment you can for a fee:
Rates
MGM Grand All-Access Spa Pass
Daily Fee: $25
Three Day: $60
Five Day: $100
When you walk in you are greeted and shown to a locker that has your robe and sandals. If you are there early you can use the facilities or just lounge in the super cozy relaxation loundge. In the lounge you will find granola bars, fruit, infused waters, cozy blankets, and magazines. All this while surrounded by warm smells and the sound of waterfalls.
I recieved the shitsu massage & body scrub which was wonderful. The women that did the treatments where very nice and did a great job. I have been to spas in Vegas where they did not do a good job because they don't think it's necessary since they don't count on repeat business from you because you are on vacation. My husband went for the classic Swedish massage and was equally happy!
After your treatment you can take a shower. There are shower caps, razors, q-tips, soap, shampoo, conditioner, everything you need for a shower. They also have vanity stations to blow dry and do your make-up. The vanity stations have hair dryers, curling irons, & hair products.
Like all spas the treatments are pricey. But if you want a good treatment this is a good choice. If you want to take a soak and use the facilities for the day, it's worth the $25.
