"Nice park, but come during the day"

This was a large park with lots of fun play equipment for kids of all ages. My 3 year old had a great time here after a full day of biking, eating and playing at Galveston Island. We also met lots of other nice families who clearly come here all the time to play with their kids.

The skate park was jammed with bikers and skaters. My son loved watching them do all of their tricks up and down the ramps like pros.

We came around 4pm right as the sun was beginning to set and it got a little sketchier as it got darker. I don't know if I would have felt safe here by myself with just my son, but I was with my parents and cousin as well.

All in all, a pretty fun park. I'd just come during the day to play it safe.
