"Meadowside Nature Center"

As a part of Montgomery County Parks Department, this Nature Center is an incredible free resource open for anyone to explore.  With numerous programs for children—and adults--that may include a short, engaging lesson, book, hike, or craft, we all love trips to Meadowside.  We sometimes pack a lunch and try to hike what we can of the 8 mile trail there, or we’ll stop by to visit with the bald eagle who lives in the Raptor Aviaries.  With activities going on from morning to night and at all months of the year, Meadowside is a hidden gem!
