Maumee Bay state park is one of the greatest parts of living in Toledo.  There are beautiful trails, a great hotel, an in ground pool, a golf course, boat docks, and beach front.  There is never a dull moment at Maumee Bay.  It is beautiful, kid friendly, camper friendly, and fishing friendly.  Not to mention afforable!

"Maumee Bay State Park"

One of our most favorite summer spots is at Maumee Bay.  It is so beautiful, we love this beach by lake Erie.  They have everything you could possibly want from camp sites, to cabins, a beautiful lodge, bike trails, canoe, and jet ski rentals...you name it!  
     They have a volley ball net set up, as well as a giant water slide.  We go there as often as we can!  They also have a boardwalk through the woods, and a really awesome nature center where you can hold and pet live snakes!  My boys especially like that part. :-)
