"Fun with the Family"
The museum was established in 1962 to tell the story of the northern MojaveDesert. There are exhibits showcasing animals, birds, paleontology, and Native American displays. The hands-on Discovery Area appeals to children of all ages. The museum is also home to the Death Valley Tourist Center and the Northern Mojave Visitor Center.
