"Better than expected!"

We went here this summer with my 3 year old. There were 4 adults as well and let me tell you- we ALL had a great time. The best exhibit were the hands on ones- my 3 year old  got to hold a starfish and pet a stingray!  The meerkats were also interesting to watch, I didn't expect to see them at an aquarium and they were really cute and fun to watch. The other cool thing was that we also got to see the sharks being fed. This was something that only happens once a day and we were lucky enough to see it! Great time!

"Explore marine life and maritime culture"

Watch sharks, jellies, sea turtles, and more than 1,000 other marine animals. Or enjoy a film in the IMAX movie theater. The current exhibit is Dinosaur Island, where robotic dinosaurs and an 3D sim adventure ride teach about the extinction. It seems dinosaurs are always a hit with both boys and girls when you take a friends child for the afternoon and don't know where to take them. The Maritime Aquarium also offers a really unique atmosphere for special events, like weddings, corporate parties and proms. An event at the Center was amazing - each course is in a different part of the museum. Cocktails are served with a Raw Bar in front of the Open Ocean exhibit. Dancing is in front of the seals who look like they love music. They also do less formal events such as clambakes.

"Aquarium"

We have been to the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk a countless number of times.  We enjoyed ourselves so much the first time we were there we upgraded our admission to a membership.  The kids love touching the Manta Rays and the Touch Tank is always a big hit.  My littlest ones even climb up and want to see what the staff members have to show off that day.

"Good day trip"

This aquarium is worth a visit and good fun for kids.  The seal feeding demostration is great and the new exhibits are fun to see.  The jellyfish exhibit is magical and kids will love the touch tank - they can touch rays and hermit crabs and learn more about them too.
