"Beautiful park to explore"

This park has lots of things to see - beautiful Japanese gardens, rose gardens, a large greenhouse, wooded trails, a play area, and duck and swan ponds.  It's a great way to spend a peaceful afternoon, or a fun field trip to take with kids to see things they might not normally get to see!  It's on the South Hill of  Spokane.  Bring a picnic lunch and bread for the ducks!

"Manito Stroll"

Spend the afternoon strolling through the park or wandering through the many gardens. Manito park is a beautiful and peaceful place to plan a picnic, a walk in the park or even a trip to the playground.  Well, that may not be so peaceful, but it is big enough that it certainly is fun.  Make sure to take some bread for the ducks and a stroller as the paths can be long if you go for a walk with the little ones.  It is a great place to enjoy a Sunday afternoon in the park.

"Perfect place for picnics!"

Manito park is one of the most beautiful parks in the city, sprawling in the middle of Spokane! It has several play equipment areas, a big duck pond filled with very friendly ducks, and different themed gardens. Some of the best are the Rose and Japanese Gardens, and the greenhouse is filled with lots of tropical plants!

"We love this Place"

Over the years we have enjoyed this park over and over again.  Bring a picnic and roll down a hill be a kid again.  This is truly the place to smell the roses.  The gardens are beautiful with blooming foliage all summer and into the fall.  Feed the ducks at the pond and play on the equipment.  Toss a Frisbee or play softball.  During the summer weddings are preformed in the rose gardens.  If you haven’t been there please take a day and go.  During the winter when snow is present expect to see sleds bring yours too!
Thank you for reading I hope you love it as much as we do.

"Manito has it all!"

This park, nestled in the South Hill area of Spokane, is so serene and beautiful, especially in the Autumn months when the leaves change color and fall and in the Spring when color returns.  This park has something for everyone, including a duck pond with of course plenty of ducks, turtles and birds to admire. There isn't just one garden to gaze at but five different types of gardens, including a Japanese Garden, Lilac Garden, and Rose Hill among others!  Of course there are plenty of picnic areas, a Gazebo perfect to lounge in and take pictures in, and two separate playgrounds.

"Great Place for kids"

Manito is a great place for the whole family.  From walking and enjoying the great outdoors to new water play areas for the kids.  You can do it all at Manito!  There are the wonderful rose gardens, japanese gardens and botanical gardens to the duck pond.  Fun for all.  Thinking about packing a picinic, manito is a great place to go.

"This park is beautiful"

This park is so beautiful. If you ever visit this park, make sure to visit the japanese garden area. This park would be a great area if you want good pictures. This park would also be a great place for picnics. It's a nice, quiet park. This park is great for kids. It has a nice little playground as well.
