The second largest mall in America with 520 shops, Nickelodeon Universe® the nation's first Nick theme park; Underwater Adventures® Aquarium, a 1.2 million gallon walk-through aquarium; LEGO play area and a 14-screen movie theater and more.
If you've never been to the Mall of America, you've never experienced anything quite like it! Just driving up to the mall is awe-inspiring! There is a parking lot for each state, which you can park in, and it will help you remember where you parked. The place is simply HUGE! Every store you can ever imagine is in the mall, plus there are many unique shops. Of course, the biggest difference in the mall is that there is an indoor amusement park. The indoor roller coaster is something to be seen! We didn't get to ride it (the first time I went I didn't want to...I was a teenager, the second time my husband and I had our first daughter, and she was only 1). There is, though, PLENTY to do there at the mall to take up an entire day. You could easily go early in the morning and spend all day there. If you rode a ride and took in a few other activities, you probably won't even see the whole mall! We had a great time, and are going to go back this September, as we have three kids now, and they will all enjoy it. I can't wait!
The mall of America is a great place for families to go. There are so many different things to do that everyone will be able to have fun. The kids can play in Nickododeon Universe, go to the Under water Adventures and of course shop in many of the child friendly shops like Build a Bear or American Girl. Older children will enjoy the aquarium and of course shopping! There are plenty of places to eat from fast food to nice sit down dinners and snacks every where. We had a lot of fun in the 2 days we spent there and could have stayed for a few more and still not had time to see it all!
The mall of america is huge not doubt about it and plenty of activities for the kids. Nickleodeon park in the center of the mall is something to see and take your kids to enjoy. There is a rollercoater in the mall along with plenty of other rides. Lego store and American Girl are two favorite places for our family to go. This plave is definately a place you need to visit at least once.
Went here with my husband, our almost 2-year-old son, and friends of ours and their 3-year-old daughter. The rides seemed a little too big for our son to go on by himself, so one of us would have had to have ridden them with him. The rides are a little expensive also, but our friends' daughter has been on them before and really liked them. It is a big place with lots of people. We had our stroller, but our son didn't want to sit the whole time, so we just had to make sure he held a hand when we were walking. It has rides for the kids and shopping for the adults and enough food choices that everyone should be able to find something to eat.
My family visited the mall of America and loved it. If you are planning on visiting the mall of America make sure to give yourself plenty of time at the mall. It takes more than a whole day at the mall to be able to see everything. The mall is open Monday-Saturday from 10am till 9:30pm and 11am till 7pm on Sundays. The kids enjoyed the roller coaster and other rides that are in the center of the mall. The also enjoyed visiting Lego Land and the amazing mirror maze which was made up of 2500 square feet of mirrors which is the largest in the world. The mall offers plenty of restaurants, specialty shops, amusement for the kids, and lots of well known stores. I would recommend stopping in and seeing the mall for yourself if you are in the Minnesota area u won't be disappointed.
This is truly the best mall we have ever been to. Our favorite part was Lego World I have never seen legos so big in my life and it was hands on. There is definately something to do for everyone here, and just about any store you can think of plus more that you have never heard of. The rides on the inside of the mall are great as well because if it rains who cares the rides are still open and going. Also to Please bring a stroller for the little ones. Another cool part to the mall is the elevators are glass so that when you go up and down you can see everything. Love this Place.
This was a really good place to spend our day. This is truly the biggest mall ever. There is a store for whatever you would ever need in this mall. Great toy stores too. The middle of the mall is a pretty big amusement park with rides mostly for kids but there are bigger ones also that the teens/adults like too. They have great choices for food in the food court also. Be prepared to walk though so if you have young ones bring a stroller and a sippy cup for them to drink.
The Mall of America is a must-see for us every time we visit Minnesota. Toddler Tuesdays are the best! With special offers and coupons for families with toddlers, it makes a great day trip for the whole family! Our daughter (who is in love with Dora the Explorer) loved the special ride pass, and definitely got a lot of use out of it (Access to all toddler Dora rides for $10). We also got special snack coupons for her, a free taco at Chipotle if we bought lunch there and a free hot chocolate at Caribou Coffee. On top of that she got to meet Dora, Boots, and Diego (costumed characters) and have her picture taken with them. Other family members not interested in the theme park can always go see a movie or shop, which makes it possible to stay the whole day there, even with younger children. We really enjoy going and look forward to our next visit!
I have been to the MOA at least 6 times, and it's now on our to do list every other year. My mom and I have treked out there from Michigan so many times I don't need a map. First the mall is incredible, so many many things to do you don't know where to go. Love the park inside for kids and the rides are a hoot. The LEGO land is so incredible you'll be amazed. So many restaurants, all different prices but you have to try Bubba Gumps and the Mexican resturant on the top floor. Don't worry about getting tired there are so many places to sit. Never go without using priceline because I made that mistake the first time and I nearly paid $150 per night-we end up staying on the border of Wisconsin and Minn . Now I priceline and stay in 3.5 star for $50 night down the block from the MOA. There is a giant IKEA right next door and so much to do in the area.
First off, I have to say that visiting the Mall of America is truly a once in a lifetime experience, and if you get the chance to take your children there, do not pass it up. We had such an amazing time. There is so much to do and see, so many levels, that you will definitely need several days if you want to see as much of it as you can. We had so much fun shopping, playing, and eating that our time there just flew by. Plan on taking several days to enjoy this truly unique experience.
I went here when I was 12 and to a 12 year old, it was pretty cool. I remember there being 4 stories and seeing some stores more than once...which I thought was interesting because I hadn't seen that in another mall. The inside amusement park was a neat attraction too. Good place in Minnesota to bring the kids since it is indoors.
Can this place get any better? I don't think so ..... This is the type of mall you want lots of time and Money if you have it too. They have a little something for everyone and than some. The rides are fun too. At some point in everyones lives a trip to MOA is a must, you wont believe how awesome it is !!!
What a great mall. It is HUGE so plan to spend a couple days here. Yes, a couple days!!! There is an amusement park in the middle to keep your kids entertained. The last time we went there was also a huge lego store that was amazing. They had tons of legos out for the kids to play with. I love the variety of stores there. We got a Cord-a-Roy bean bag chair that is still a family favorite. They are soooo comfortable. You have to stop by that store. I don't remember the food court because we didn't eat there in the mall that day but i am sure it has a great selection to choose from.
Many people enjoy the MOA, but for us we stay away unless an out of state guest comes and really wants to go. I don't recommend doing intential shopping there. Usually whatever store you want to go into is on the other side of the gigantic square. Camp Snoopy is fine if you don't mind all the people. Don't worry, my family won't be getting in your way!
The mall of America is a little to overwhelming for me to shop at. I like going there with the kids to go on a couple rides and eat at a fun restaurant though. I like to try things on and then make a decision at the end if I want to buy it or not but it is hard to find the same store again once you leave! But the rainforest cafe is really fun for the kids and adults. Worth going just to go there!
=) The title tells it all! =) My family had been to the Mall of America probably 5 times. It's great cause you can by a wristband to the amusement park (Kids rides & Adult rides) for the ones who want it. Have family who don't ride rides?? They can just shop in the mall. They've added alot of new additions to the mall there is now an aquarium & a sweet mini golf place at the mall. Overall just amazing... also if it's your childs birthday you can sign them up online and get them a free wristband to the park. =)
I love this place for shopping as they have many stores that will appeal to all ages and as far as activities they have toddler tuesday where cartoon characters are welcoming the children. For the older children they have the amusement park, and lego land to have fun in. For the little girls they have the libby shop where you are able to get makeovers!! For everyone they have an amazing food court and the aquarium with lots of options such as tours and sleepovers.
We have been to the Mall of America many times, most recently about a month ago. My daughters loved the amusement park; though mostly because Dora, Diego, and Boots were smiling down at them. We only went on a few rides due to lines and didn't really shop because it was just too crowded. We didn't make it to the aquarium this past time, but greatly enjoyed it on our previous visits. I would recommend going if you have older kids who don't wander off or bring a nice stroller.
This mall is massive. Walking all the way around each level is almost a mile. Bring the stroller! There are actually pretty good deals to be found here especially at Nordstroms Rack, Macys, and Marshalls. The center of the mall has Nickelodeon themed park, formerly Camp Snoopy. They have a lot of fun things for kids maybe 5+ while the little kids will enjoying seeing (and begging for) the Dora paraphernalia. There is a lot of general mall food with real restaurants on the top floor. This is easily an all day trip, or even two days.
This is my kids favorite place to go. They love Nickolodeon universe. On Tuesdays they have very discounted all day ride wrist bands for kids. They call it toddler Tuesday but I think it works for any young child. It's very worth it because regular price is a lot! Also, underwater adventures is a great place for young kids too. It's very interactive! Try to find coupons though because it's pretty pricey! The perks for mom and dad are the great variety of stores. Try to hit the stores you want before you take your kids into Nick universe because you may never get out!
