Madrona Marsh Preserve

"It's great to be outdoors!"

The Nature Center offers nature-based kids' activities (e.g., storytime, crafts, etc.) on Friday mornings geared toward the preschool crowd. It's very educational and fun for the kids to learn about plants, animals, and minerals within the marsh. After the "lesson," the kids explore the marsh to see what they've just learned about. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.

Tyke hikes are also offered on the first Thursday of the month. The path is stroller friendly. Donation of $5 suggested.  

There are other activities for kids of all ages, including bird watching and night hikes. Check the website for details.
