The Madame Tussauds Wax Museum is a ton of fun for celebrity and pop culture fanatics.
It's a cool place and I personally think that it's good to be there at least once. It's fun to see a lot of famous people around. My kids were just jumping from one wax figure to the another. Taking pictures with Obama, or Michael Jackson should be great, right? They even have Dalai Latma there.
The only down-point is that the ticket is quite expensive. It's something like $35 plus tax. Too much for us!
Madame Tussauds is such an amazing wax museum because you can easily mistake one of the wax figures for a real person, it's crazy! The funnest parts are modeling with the wax figures for pictures there's almost every celebrity you can think of (past & present) athletes, singers, dancers, actors - it's great! you can even go on a date with George Clooney hehe the kids really loved it!
Last time I was at Madame Tussauds the kids and I were able to play basketball with Michael Jordan, sing with Lady Gaga, and talk with P Diddy. Madame Tussauds has over 200 life-life wax creations where you can interact, take pictures and get up close and personal with some of the greatest celebrities and music icons, political heroes and historical figures, plus sports icons and more. The kids really enjoyed taking pictures with all their favorite celebrities.
This was a good time. It was different, and a great way to kill time doing something out of the ordinary. They did a wonderful job at portraying all of the stars. Bring a camera and take lots of pics - they come out good! I have not been here in a few years, so they may have added new people and things.
I wasn't planning to go here with my kids, but when stormy weather ruined our other plans, I figured that I would give it a try. It was our first time there and I was hoping it would live up to the hype. It completely did and exceeded it by a mile!! It was absolutely amazing and the kids loved it! We spent four hours going through it when the people at the front desk said it usually only takes less than two. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great few hours to kill and a bunch of memories that will last a while!
This is a fabulous indoor "museum" where you can spend the day among "wax" celebrities. Watch out for scarier parts, not appropriate for younger children. There are challenge, games, history and lots to entertain. It's a bit pricey, but it's worth the visit.
