I'm not sure what I was expecting here. I know there's not an abundance of specifically kid-friendly attractions in Las Vegas. This was on our to-do-with-kids list given by our hotel concierge so we decided to check it out since we were on that part of the Strip. This is a multi-story store dedicated to the M&M.
Don't get me wrong, I love M&Ms of any color, flavor or shape. They are one of my favorite candies on the planet.
Anyway, if you want M&M stuffed animals, pajamas, dresses, bags, and more you should definitely come here. We went on a Sunday and you could barely walk in the place it was so crowded. And, it's not cheap either.
My husband almost broke into hives (well, not really) and demanded that we leave the chaos.
Because I am a baker, I was intrigued by the wall of M&Ms of all colors. However, I nearly died when I saw the pricing. Turquoise M&Ms weren't worth it.
Unless you plan to buy, give it a skip. There is a bunch to look at though on street level outside the store with random performance art (Hello Kitty, Pirates and moe) on the weekends.
I have always steered away from M&M World because we are a NO artificial dye family. But now that my daughter understands our rules I felt we could do it without a melt down.
Even though we don't eat M&M's this was a fun 30 minute reprieve of Vegas. There is a lot to look at, like a M&M museum of sorts. Lots of M&M merchandise you wont see everyday like guitars, collectibles, etc. Everything is super expensive!
They also have a 3-D movie and a little walk through fun house upstairs. This is a great place to take kids.
If your staying in a hotel close by it's worth a short walk to see. I wouldn't go out of my way if you aren't staying close though.
It was fun to see the race car on the 4th floor. Our kids also liked watching the 3D movie. Everything was quite expensive to purchase. It is fun to do at least once. But I don't think we will be going again. It was also difficult to park and walk. Not a great environment to walk through the casino and on the street with kids.
The M&M store is located next to the Coca-cola store. These two stores offer a great oasis off the Vegas strip. The M&M store offers merchandise and so much more. There is a free 3D movie starring some of your favorite M&M characters as well as a full sized race car for the kids (and adults) to look at. While you are there, they are often giving out samples of new products; we sampled the cherry M&M’s. My boys enjoyed the spontaneous dance that broke out with the yellow M&M during a song. Overall, the M&M’s store is a great quick visit, it took us about one hour to see the movie and view all the floors. My boys can’t wait to go back.
M&M World in Las Vegas is a must stop for parents traveling with kids.
Some major perks are that this little "store" with more is free to wander through (yay!) and provides a nice relief from both the Vegas heat and the Vegas atmosphere.
Enjoy a quick show staring some of your favorite colors, learn some M&M history, and of course, buy some candy if you so desire (you might find it hard not to!!)
You won't spend hours in here, but it is fun for a quick stop next to the Lion Habitat at the MGM Grand.
Every flavor of m&m's that you could ever imagine is here. If you are an m&m's fan or collector I would stop by here for sure. It is a great place to take the kids and let them choose a bag to take with them. I have never seen so many colors or different options for m&m's. My son really liked being able to fill his own bag of candy and do it himself. Really a neat place.
I was not expecting what I got when I went to M&M's World! It is four stories of everything M&M. There was even a M&M movie! The movie was in #-D, and the kids absolutely loved it. I think their favorite part was all the chocolate they got to eat after we left! :) Each floor had a different theme, clothes/school supplies, Nascar, etc, but it was all about M&M's! It was so neat to see all the different things that were M&M themed! My son really enjoyed the M&M Nascar room!
If it weren't for M&M World I would probably never go back to Las Vegas. I didn't enjoy the town until I visited M&M World. It was completely family-oriented and we all enjoyed it. There are multiple floors of merchandise, gigantic statues, and even a tour area that is free and fun for kids and adults. You can buy any color of m&m's you can think of. There are clear bags that you fill and I think you're charged by the pound. The store has tons of cute clothes, gifts, and a large clearance section. I spent hours here and even stopped again before I went home because I enjoyed it so much the first time. Kids will love to see the giant M&M's and the rainbow wall of M&Ms. There are usually crowds but the place is very big.
One of our favorite parts of Vegas with the family was M&M World. This is five levels of anything and everything M&M you can imagine. Lot's to see whether your a window shopper or money shopper. Strollers? Wheelchairs? No problem...this facility features a five level escalator and an elevator to accomodate everyone. Get your chocolate craving in at M&M World!!
My kids just love this place. Its 4 levels of pure heaven for them! One of the levels has a I-MAX 3D show on it but its never been working when I have been. They have SO much stuff! All kids of souvenirs. You can make your own take home bag and choose which colors you want to put in your bag. It’s much more then what you would buy in the grocery store but it’s the experience. I have pictures of my little girl every year with the m&m characters and she loves looking at them and remembering the fun time we had there.
M&M's world is great. My kids thought it was so cool to go to a world that revolved around one of their favorite candies! A quick stop but very neat and fun. A great experience for my kids and I am so glad we stopped in. Decent prices and a lifetime full of cute memories. A must-see in Vegas.
My son loves M&Ms..so this was a great place to take him. The m&m wall, has m&ms seperated by color and you can fill up your bag and pay by pound. But the cost per pound is kinda pricey. Besides that it is fun to walk around and explorer everything that they have
They have little M&M shows during the day which are fun to watch. Also they have a real Nascar which my son flipped over. He loves cars so it was great to go look at. The M&M world is about 4 levels so you can take your time and explorer everything
Can there be a better place on Earth? M&M's World is filled with lots of merchandise, yummy candy and a little tour. We started to take the tour but my daughter became very frightened when it got dark. Much like she does on Disneyland dark rides. So, we didn't finish the tour. We did take home some yummy M&M's though.
If your kids like M+Ms they will love this place. There is no cost and it is several levels with a free short 3-D movie on the top level. It is all geared to sell, so it can be helpful to set the rules before you go in. I gave a one item limit costing no more than $5 and we left after over an hour of fun costing less than $10 and they each had a special item to carry in the store's nice M+M bags. Hint-sometimes they have clearance bins with large markdowns.
This was a fun store to visit. It may be one of the few places that you can take kids and feel comfortable that you won't encounter adult themes. But getting there you had to pass all of the street hawkers selling their favorite hooker. I saw several parents that were upset that their small children were even approached by these people. If you go find a way to NOT have to walk along the street to get there. Once inside it is a wonderful experience.
This is the perfect place for M&M lovers and collectors. There are four stories of candy, collectibles, clothing, and toys. They also have a free show that airs through the day. The prices are quite reasonable. They even have a wall is m&m's in every color you can think of that you can purchase by weight.
