"Fun, Fun, Fun!"

Our family LOVES baseball, but I do not think you need to be passionate fans to have a great time at the Louisville Slugger Museum.  We have been to the museum twice, once when our kids were 8,10, and 12 and more recently they were ages 13, 15, and 17.  At any age, there is a lot of interactive exhibits and the factory tour is both interesting and fun!

Other than the Slugger Museum, there is not really much to see in that area.  Both times we stopped because we were passing through, I am not sure it is a destination trip.  Hotels are not walking distance so plan on driving and paying for parking

Baseball fan or not, it is fun to see how bats are made and to experience all the fun in the museum.  This is not one of those quiet museums, let the kids go and have some fun!

"Great for Kids!"

This is an extremely common museum for schools in surrounding counties to take children on field trips to, so it is very child-friendly as well as entertaining for the baseball lover! Even if you aren't too into baseball, it is still fun to walk through and visit the gift shop at the end. (Isn't that everyone's favorite part?) They have great miniature Louisville Slugger bats for small keepsakes, or you can have a bat engraved especially for you or someone you know.

"Fun Time"

This museum is a fantastic place to take the whole family.  If you are a baseball fan or player then this is a must see if you are in the area.  It is worth the price and you get a small souvenir bat at the end of the factory tour.  You will see players bats being finished right before your eyes!!!

"Awesome for Baseball Fans"

If you are a baseball fan or just have some knowledge of baseball, it is a great place to visit.  Your visit can become even better if they are running the factory while you are there and can watch them create the bats for the pros.  Not the best place for families with those under 5, but great for more mature families.  Lots to read, watch and see about America's past time!

"Such a unique experience"

Come see the world's largest bat at the Slugger Museum.  This is such a neat place and a fun experience. We loved the tour of the museum and found the factory part where they show you how they make the bats to be very interesting. You can also walk away with your own personalized bat!
