My husband is a huge baseball fan, and he's slowly converting me :) He took me to a Riverbats game last season, and even though I was 7 months pregnant at the time, I really enjoyed myself. I forsee many more trips to Slugger Field in our future. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I felt the food and gifts were a bit pricey, but apparently that is just the way it is at every field and stadium.
This a great family outing in the spring, summer and fall. The ballpark has good prices on their tickets and it's fun to be able to enjoy good food and baseball! Also, kids can run the bases on Sunday evenings and there is a fun park for the kids to play at while the grown-ups enjoy the game!!
Going to see the Bats is a great place to take your family. You get to enjoy the ballgame, kids can play on the playgrounds with plenty of room to wander with the real little ones, and a carousel for $1. The food is reasonable for ballpark food and the the ballpark is close to waterfront park for a full day of fun.
Going to Louisville Slugger Field to see the Bats play is so much fun and very affordable. One of the best things about it is how clean it is. There is a great playground area for kids and the food isn't even priced too outrageously. You can even get bleacher or lawn tickets for $5. This is also a great place to be for Thunder Over Louisville!
