"Fun & budget friendly"

I go regularly with my family to the Lompoc Aquatic Center.  My son is 3 1/2 and just getting used the water and the fun it can bring.  My drive is no more than 25 min. so the trek is worth it.  It is safe and pretty exciting, especially when the huge bucket of water drops on everyone!

"The best pool ever!"

I can't believe that Lompoc is so lucky to have this incredible facility and that I haven't gone here until now.  My husband and I took our 2 children (3 yrs daughter & 4 month old son) and were blown away.  My daughter had a blast going up and down the play structure, spraying water on people, going down the slides, and waiting for the bucket to fill and tumble out on top of her.  My son & I splashed in the shallow water by the structure then headed over to the family pool/therapy pool.  My niece (11 yrs) came with us too and she couldn't get enough of the big kid slides (my husband loved them too).  We live 45 minutes away, but will definitely go back!  And the best was, that although there were quite a few people there, it didn't seem crowded at all - the place is huge!!  I highly recommend going to check it out!

"Awesome Waterpark"

We love this pool.  We live only a few blocks from our town's pool, but we drive the 30 minutes to get to this one because it is so much better.  It's not just a pool, it's more of a waterpark.  There are two large waterslides for older kids and adults and a playground water structure for younger kids.  There are also lap swimming areas and a warmer therapy pool.  My only complaint is that they require one to one ratio of adult to children under the age of 4 which means I can't ake my kids to the pool by myself.  But, this rule also means that the kids who are there are well supervised and I'm sure it cuts down on the number of people who use the pool, so it's never crowded.  Luckily grandma likes the pool as much as the kids, so she's always up for joining us.  I;ve been there when they've reached their maximum capacity and it still wasn't that crowded.  The large waterslides are so much fun that we've actually gone there for a moms' night out before.

"Great fun!"

We went here for a birthday party and had a blast!  I was dreading it a little because the weather was cold and foggy and windy however, my fears were for nothing because the center is indoors!  So it doesn't matter what the weather is like outside.  There is a huge area for smaller kids to play in with water falling and squirting from everywhere.  The water was nice and warm.  There is a big pool to swim in and two separate larger water slides for slightly bigger kids.  We had a great time here.

I think my kids loved shooting the water from hoses the best.  There are a couple of them mounted on the large play structure.  They really got a kick out of squirting their dad and the other grownups.  Don't worry parents, there are ways to get your kids back for blasting you in the face!  There is a large bucket that fills up over time and if you get your kid to chase you and time it perfectly you can lead them under it at the right moment and get them back!
