Experience Boston Logan International Airport's "Kidport"a very special place offering travelers and their children an area to wait for flights that is both comfortable and fun! The Kidport includes
- Airplane Climbing Sculpture
- Baggage Claim Slide
- Logan Control Tower Climbing Structure
- "Fun Places for Families to Visit" Wall Mural
- Infant and Toddler Play Area
- "What's Outside?" Window Display
- Magnetic Poetry Wall
Two locations:
1) Satellite Building, by Gate A18. Designed by Playtime, Kidport in Terminal A features a replica of Logan's Control Tower and a wall replica of Terminal A.
2) Departure level, in main terminal area. Kidport in Terminal C was designed by The Children's Museum of Boston and offers interesting hands-on exhibits which are not only entertaining, but educational too.
What a great idea!! My kids LOVE flying out of Boston Logan airport just because of the kidport area in the Delta terminal. If every airport had this, we would be golden (not that the planes aren't entertainment enough!) The kidport is located directly across from a bathroom - great thinking! - and around the corner from the food court.
If you're flying out of terminal A in Boston, check it out. It's sure to entertain your kids while you pass the time!
We were at the airport with some of my neices and nephews (ages 2-5) and loved this cool little Kidport. It's this great area for the kids to interact and do fun activities like sliding like a suitcase through baggage claim and a infant/toddler play area. They loved climbing on the airplane sculpture the best. Fun thing to check out if you're at the airport with time to kill with the kids.
