Miami’s Cuban culture, strong as a café con leche, centers along Southwest Eighth Street (Highway 41), known locally as Calle Ocho, site of the annual whopper Canaval Miami each March. Calle Ocho, one of the festival events, is billed as the world’s largest block party with the world’s longest conga line.
If Calle Ocho is not going on, there is not much one can do except walk. There is a lot traffic and a very bust street. The famous restaurant Versallies is there. Very good Cuban food.
