Kiddieland has been in Waco since the early 1950s and many of use have been there many times over the years and have wonderful memories of the park. In past years the park was run down but today the park is being restored, and is back to looking great. The train has been given new life and the rides are being restored. Now, we take our grandchild there, and she loves it. This park is for children and the rides are totally safe. It is a must see while in Waco.
We went there today. Park is definitely in disrepair. Go-karts were working, but not sure how many. Mini golf was ok. The carosel was working as was 2-3 of the other rides. The pool area was falling apart. The large slide was rusty and not open. I doubt we will go back.
This is a very old amusement park - one I went to growing up - and now I get to take my kids. I think the rides are still the same! The kids absolutely love it and the prices are reasonable. The train ride is the favorite thing to do. Not much shade so best to go early in the a.m.
The kids should like this small amusement park, which has a playground, miniature golf, tennis courts, rides for small children, a swimming pool, and a miniature train that whistles its way around the park.
