These two caverns are a bit more challenging than some other nearby caverns. The walkways are often damp, but the minerals in the water droplets keep this a living cave. In fact, exploration for new caverns continues. The rock formations are spectacular flowstones, stalactites, calcite, and crystals. Many educational programs are available, including geology and speleology workshops, as well as programs focused on debunking common misconceptions about bats. Bring a sweater. Special offerings include a kids cave camp in June, Ghosts and Goblins tours in October, and Ultimate Underground Birthday Parties with pizza.
