Just a few steps from the parking lot, this long stretch of windswept sand is good for surf fishing and sunbathing. Look for the Muddy Hollow Trail for a short birdwatching
walk. Birdwatching is popular in the 500-acre Drake’s Estero, a large intertidal lagoon with a giant tidepool.
