"Will be even better when they move to the new location!"

I was born and raised in Las Vegas, so I grew up going to the Leid Museum. Some of my favorite memories are of this place. There is so much to do there, and they do a fantastic job of making sure there are things for kids of all ages to do. Now that I'm a mom, I love taking my daughter there. She's 2 1/2 and she loves running around all over Leid. Some of the things are over her head still, but she doesn't care. My cousins kids are a bit older than mine (4-7 and they all love to come here too. The very best part is that they are moving to a brand new location this year, and it is supposed to be pretty amazing. If you're trying to do Vegas with kids, this is a must!

"Wonderful"

After being visiting the Museum I realized i would have paid 20 bucks a person!  This was amazing. Tons of things for my two year old to do.  She loved it.. she got to run around, play, learn, interact.  I would recomend anyone visiting Vegas with a child to go here!  It is off the strip so you will have to take a cab or drive but it is well worth it!

"Getting better"

I've been to the Children's Museum a few times over the past 5 years (most recently this past weekend) and I must agree, it has improved.  Nonetheless, I'm always put-off by the location and the large group of bums that camp out in a plume of smoke at the front of the building.  I know at one point there were talks of moving to a new location and I think that would make a huge difference.  Fingers crossed, it will happen sooner than later.  Once inside, you can expect to spend 1-2 hours of exploration with your children.  There's a separate area specifically for babies and toddlers to play in, which I found nice when my babes were younger.   Mine have always enjoyed shopping in the grocery store and playing at the pretend airport.  My 3 year old son liked the water table and bubble making areas on our last visit.  I still feel like it is missing some of the class and more in-depth exhibits that other metropolitan cities have, but it's worth a visit if you are looking for child-friendly activities in a non-child friendly town like Las Vegas.

"Much better than I remembered it!"

I was in the museum a few years ago and thought it seemed a little rundown and boring, but was pleasantly surprised on a recent visit. The new "green village" is a lot of fun, especially the airport area. My two year old and a group of kids happily played there for at least 10 minutes. It doesn't have as much as some other children's museums I've visited in other cities, but I think I like the open feeling better and there was still more than enough to keep her entertained. We'll definitely be going back and possibly even buying a membership!

"I love it!"

This museum is great even for kids as young as 1 and there are a lot of hands-on exhibits for them to play with. My son adored the special Clifford exhibit and can't stop talking about the current Grossology exhibit.  We take hims so often that we bought a year membership, which we've already gotten more than our money's worth out of.  The price of the family membership is absolutely worth the money.

"Great Fun"

My children can spend hours playing with a lot of their exhibits. I have to say there is something there for every age. Down stairs there is a special area for children under 5. They can play house or puppet show, they have a whole role play mechanic shop, bank, grocery store, airport baggage, and much more. My children live the bubble area. They also have a featured exhibit that changes every three months.

"Lied Children's Muesum"

This museum is tons of fun! We have taken our 15 month old daughter and 9 year old niece several times and there is always fun stuff for both girls! It's amazing that one place can hold interest for such a wide age range. It isn't in the best part of town but once you get inside you don't even think about it.

"Great Museum for Kids"

I remember going to the Lied Discovery Museum as a kid and having an absolute blast. As an adult the shine has worn off some. The exhibits are worn, and some are not functional, but children still seem to absolutely love the place. Well worth a trip. Your kids will want to come back again and again.

"Fun children's museum"

A very interactive museum that teaches different basic concepts from art to science.  It's a great place for younger kids, I took teens there once and they were not intrigued as younger kids.  There are many exhibits and programs but it's not really a huge museum, it is connected to a library too. Overall, it would be a great trip for younger kids maybe from 4-11.
