The Levine Museum of the New South is an interactive museum housing the nation's most comprehensive interpretation of post-Civil War Southern history.
Focused on history after the Civil War, the Levine’s centerpiece exhibit is “From Cotton Fields to Skycrapers,” which illustrates the area’s history and how it grew from a primarily farming area to a banking center. Visitors get this story from audio, video, and artifacts from people who actually lived the history from 1865.
