"Fun with the Family"

Leonard Harrison State Park is on the east rim of the canyon. It offers one of the bestviews of the canyon anywhere. Stop at the visitor center to learn about the history of the canyon. Camping is available, and there are hiking trails of varying length and diffculty. Experienced family hikers (ages eight and up) won’t want to miss the Turkey Path, a steep, 1-mile journey that takes you from the rim of the canyon down to Pine Creek.
