Lefty Frizzell Country Music Museum and Pioneer Village

"Fun with the Family"

Country-music fans will want to take the family to the Lefty Frizzell Country Music Museum, located in Pioneer Village. The museum houses Frizzell’s personal items, including photos, gold records, costumes, and mementos from other country singers. Outside is a life-size statue of this local boy who made it big in country music. Handprints of Merle Haggard and other singers are embedded in the sidewalk in front of the statue. Pioneer Village preserves many restored houses and buildings from the 1800s.
