I've been to Bryant Park a countless number of times and every single time I've gone with my kids, they've made sure to beg to go on Le Carrousel, most of the time suckering me into going on as well. It's a really nice ride, not too short and it's very very affordable. The designs of the animals are beautiful. My only criticism is that there may be long lines sometimes.
Nestled between the towering buildings of midtown Manhattan - Le Carrousel in Bryant Park is a gem. The French inspired Carrousel has 14 enchanting animals and creatures that go around to French cabaret music.
Some of the seats move up and down, stationary seats and also benches for the young ones. Each of the seats are fashioned with a safety belt.
The ride is about 5 minutes but worth every go around.
Adults who need to accompany a child will have to pay additional admissions.
Once you are done you can spend time at the reading stations or walk around the grand Bryant Park.
