Not ready to test your racing skills on the Speedway? Check out this seven-acre fam-ily fun center with four minitracks, a banked oval Super Stock Car track, a dragon roller coaster, and a slide. Go-carts can be driven by those 54 inches or taller; littler ones may be passengers. The two adult tracks (sixteen or older) are the real chalenge: Grand Prix is a timed lap racecourse; Superstock is a mini-stock-car racetrack. Take a break or get refreshed inside at the arcade and snack bar. The cost is $5.50 per ride or five rides for $25.00; kiddie rides are half price or less.
I've been to the Mini Grand Prix on a few different occasions and it's definitely a popular place for birthday parties. In fact, we'll be going to one there next week! There's a good mixture of entertainment for all ages, which I like. Inside, there's a large selection of arcade games (with prizes) and outside there are the go-kart race tracks (even one for younger children,) a roller coaster, a twister ride and a fun slide. I like that they allow children to ride with an adult in the bigger go-karts. And my 3 year old son loved to drive the smaller karts on his own.
You can pay per ride or you can get wrist bands for time and have unlimited rides. They offer food and drinks, an arcade, rides and a few tracks for various ages. They also have a large slide that the younger kids love that can't ride the cars. It is also a great place for kids parties.
