"fun...."
me and my family was here in late August.we love Lake Mead, so I was really to see water in those mountains. the temperature was ideal. surprised to see all the boat rides and casinos around. You can play in it and let your kids play in it without freezing. They offer boating, jet skiing, camping on the beach and best thing we did was rent a boat and had lunch in a boat.

"Beautiful "
I actually love Lake Mead, so I was really surprised to see someone gave it only 3 stars. There are a lot of great things about Mead. First and most importantly for me, the water is a good temperature! It's not bathwater, but it's comfortable. You can play in it and let your kids play in it without freezing. Also, it's huge. There are so many different parts of Mead. They offer boat tours which are surprisingly really fun. There is cliff jumping (for the adults), boating, jet skiing, camping on the beach, and endless things for kids to do! If you're not local, your best bet is to rent a boat for the day.
