Lake Chabot Regional Park

Lake Chabot has many things to offer, most of which are free.  You can go fishing, take a walk on the paved trail, or have a picnic.  For a fee, you can rent a canoe or small boat which is also fun.  For kids, it's a great introductory boat experience.  There are also many trail hikes available.  The weekends can be crowded with group parties though especially in the summer.
