Lafayette Community Park

"Super Cute Park! "

This is a park me and my family visit often.  It is an updated park with new and interesting play structures.  We have been to a lot of parks and have never seen some of the stuff they have here.

This park is on the smaller side, so when there are more than a few families there it feels a little small.  The toddler section is really cute.  It is completely gated in so there is no running away.  It has a cute play kitchen area, a slide, and bars.  The cutest thing about this section is that there are shapes on the ground and when you step on them they make animal noises.  Me and my daughter run around jumping on the shapes to hear the rooster and the cow for a good half hour.

The older section is not the ordinary and typical playground stuff.  It's has a design element to it and is quite interesting.  There are swings, climbing rock, see-saw, and a few other things I wouldn't know how to describe.  

They also have a few fields where the local teams play.  

The park is set back from the street.  There is plenty of parking.  The area surrounding the park is nice to walk and hike around...just watch out for the snakes!!!
