You can find two playgrounds: one for the big kids, one for the smaller kids with a sandbox. You can have a picnic, restrooms are close by as well as tennis courts and baseball field. You can spend a nice afternoon outside without getting bored and spending a dime.
I found out about this park through another mom. It is a great park, they have 2 areas for the kids. One for toddlers and the other for older kids. They also have tennis courts, basketball courts and a baseball field. They have several picnic tables and bbq grills. I have taken my daughter to this park several times. She loves the swing and the slides. The only thing about this park that I don't like is the fact that the bathrooms don't have a changing table or a handicapped bathroom. You have to change your child's diaper on the bench near the playground unless they are potty trained already.
This is a good playground. My only issue with it is that it's split into what seem to be a little kid area and a bigger kid area. Most kids seems to go back and forth between the two so for parents it means a little bit of running back and forth. Really not a bad thing but sometimes it's nice to find the sunny bench that gives you a vantage point over the entire playground. Not possible at Krusi. Some out of the ordinary equipment - big bendy see-saw type of thing, tube tunnel slides and even big swings make this park worth the short drive for us.
