"Affordable and worth it!"

The first attraction worth stopping at as you pass through the South Kona towns of Kealakekua and Captain Cook is the Kona Historical Society Museum. It’s on the National and Hawaiian Registers of Historic Places. Here, exhibits show what life was like in Kona in the early part of the twentieth century. There are artifacts, manuscripts, and lots of old photographs depicting the Kona community.
