We have been Season Pass holders for 2 years and we enjoy going to Knott's. The kids section is perfect size and the lines are so quick we can go on twice and then move on to ride and see the view from a drawn horse carriage. Never to full and my kids enjoy the smoothness when we go. Recommend to take your kids, the Holidays are so much fun don't miss your chance to see Santa at the Farm. Going today..
this place is awesome they have a combination of kiddie rides and other stuff too although as usual he food is expensive and yeah your kiddies will love this place i know my kids loved this place because i could just see the smile on their faces everytime they see snoopy ! trust me this place is a MUST go to kind of place hope u enjoy !
As a kid it was always a great treat to go to Knott's Berry Farm. Disneyland is huge and obviously awesome but Knott's is awesome in it's own right. You have a number of incredible roller coasters and just a more personalized feel to a lot of the park. I have not been here in many, many years but nonetheless still a favorite!
Knott's Berry Farm is a great place don't get me wrong. However, it seems that if your not in snoopy's land there is nothing for the younger ones to do. I found snoopy's land to be pretty boring, just a line of rides along the path. We have to split up the family so the older ones have something to do and the parent with the little ones gets left out.
My family has always loved Knotts. "There is a ton of great thrill rides and theme rides. There is a lot for little ones to do in camp snoopy where they can go on rides and meet the peanuts. The tickets are much more affordable than similar theme parks. The setting is great, go at a mellow pace and enjoy your time. Dont miss out on the BEST fried chicken ever!
Knott's Berry Farm is a pretty nice amusement park to visit if Disneyland is too expensive. It does have more intense roller coasters though, which are probably suitable only for older and "braver" children. But there are areas/things for very young kids to enjoy as well, such as Camp Snoopy. It is a nice park to walk around and is not as crowded as Disneyland. Nonetheless, like all amusement parks, you'll spend a "premium" on food/drinks/souvenirs here.
This is a very nice theme park to go and visit. I enjoyed it a lot! The park has a lot of cool rides with cool themes! They also have a lot of neat places to eat in the park too! The funnel cakes are so goood! The park is different but a lot of fun! I would recommend this to everyone!
Your kids will feel like they've been transported back in time to the wild wild west when they step foot into Knott's! A close neighbor to the world famous Disney, Knotts is a great day or two out for the family. There are many roller coasters and eateries. Little girls will love the 1800's era dresses that are seen bustling around and little boys will love the cowboy-style street shootouts. You will get a real taste of the wild west and Charlie Brown all in one day (I still dont get the correlation:) It is a great foot stompin' time, and make sure to go home with some authentic knott's Berry farm jelly!
They have big kid rides, little kid rides, a water park and more. They often have deals for military families and it is close by our home. It is California so it is open year round and the weather is usually great. A lot of fun for the whole family...and if you can stop and eat a chicken dinner at Mrs. Knott's Chicken Restaurant you WON'T be sorry!
We've frequent Knotts with our 2.5 yr old son several times now [during the day] since Halloween. The wait time is a big factor we consider since we have a toddler.
At Knotts, peak or non-peak season, the lines were pretty 'toddler-tolerable' except for the Ferry's Wheel. My son love Knotts Berry Farm over and over, and if he's happy..the family is happy!
My 4 and 2 year old boys had a good time. There is a small area for kids with a variety of rides that they were able to go on and enjoyed. There are water rides that they can go on with you as well. Just be aware that the water rides are VERY bumpy and to hold on to your children very tight because they shift and bounce when you go down. You cannot bring in food or drinks either. They are VERY strict.
Knott's Berry Farm is fun and very inexpensive. My little one loved Camp Snoopy. They had a lot of little rides for kids 3-10. My husband and I enjoyed going on some of the roller coasters too. The only thing that I did not like was that it was kinda dirty. Not a super clean place.
My family & I have been here once around Halloween. We did have fun doing the Treasure Hunt. The kids got to romp all over the park looking for clues & got a pirate's hat, map & some treasure. That was fun, but compared to Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm is just ok. The kiddie rides are too "kiddie" for the adults and the adult rides are too "adult" for the kids, so we had to take turns riding a lot...which is not the best way to spend family time together. It was fun, but I don't think we'll go back until the kids are a lot older.
I, myself, love Knott's Berry Farm. It will forever hold some of the greatest memories that I have with my children. However, this was THE destination we used to go when we went to CA, but since my kids are getting older, their obsession with Knott's Berry Farm has basically faded away. I'd recommend this to parents with young children, but I wouldn't recommend this to parents with older children, like 8 and up. For the older children, try Universal.
This is my absolute favorite CA theme park. I think mostly because it brings back some WONDERFUL childhood memories for me. As a kid I loved this place and loved it again when we went back with our daughter a couple years ago. She loved it too, and now days they have even bigger rollercoasters than I remember and more rides. I like the Old Western feel of this park and it just makes it fun. (And I don't even listen to country music) Knotts was the first ever theme park and should be given it's time if your in Anaheim. The kiddy area is a ton of fun with lots of little rides. Go there on a week day and you'll get right into the rides with no problem or lines. I love snoopy and can't wait to go back again someday!
This park added a different element to our California Vacation. With so many theme parks in the area, Knott's Berry Farm holds its own. It had many rides that we found unique, including some great roller coasters. I don't think I would take little ones, but teens and adults will enjoy!
I love this park it has such a mixture of disney and magic. you got lots of tame rides and lots of crazy fun rides!!! I love walking through the old part and am so happy they haven't UPDATED it much. ;0) it is a great place to visit. I haven't been there since having a child so I don't know how it would be but I would love to take my son as soon as I get some money
I love Knott's Berry Farm. I love the whole old fashioned theme. They have a nice Camp Snoopy area for the kids. It's a cute quaint park, with lots of fast rides for teens/adults. I'd go back here over and over again! :) They also have delicious food, such as roasted corn on the cob! Yum!
Knott's Berry Farm is a wonderful palce to visit, especially with small children! We stayed in the resort hotel on site and everyone there was great. If you can afford it we totally recommend booking a Camp Snoopy Room! Having Snoopy come by at night to tuck you in is priceless!
The park itself is very clean, easy to walk around and has over 165 rides and attractions to entertain the family. Camp Snoopy is specifically designed for younger children and where we spent most of our time while at the park.
I grew up in Southern California and spent many summers here at Knott's Berry Farm. They have lots of rides and activities for young children and also fun rides for adults. The food is not too expensive but you can always leave the park and eat at a local restaurant, there are lots in the area that offer great deals. They used to have summer specials where it was only $10 to get in after 4pm, not sure if they still have this. Another great plus, is that the lines are never as long as they are in Disneyland.
