"Kings Mountain State Park"
Kings Mountain State Park is a great place to visit with your 4th grader. They are studying colonialism and American history and the exhibits here tie right in to what they are learning. There are special re-enactment days where interpreters dress up in colonial clothes and demonstrate colonial life for kids. Every time we have been, the interpreters have been knowledgeable and friendly. They are glad to answer questions from the kids.
