We use the one in Jacksonville, Florida. As a working mom, those teacher planning days off from school always seem to be on the day when I really can’t take off from work. KidsPark is always there for me! Also, my husband is always last minute about making plans, so when he calls on his way home from work and suggests we meet friends out, I can always say yes without having to worry about getting a sitter! My kids would rather go to KidsPark anyway, than have a sitter.
Our kids love this place. We have only been able to use it about 5 times, but each time the kids were crying to stay longer. They love that they have to take off their shoes and wear socks. There is a lot of toys and a huge slide. Even my 8 year old loves this place because of the game systems and the air hockey table. Everytime I have dropped off my 3 year old she comes home with a craft based on the weekly theme. It is a great place with reasonable childcare rates.
My daughter probably doesn't even realize that we're gone when we drop her off at Kids Park. From the minute we get in the door, she wants to go behind the gate and start playing. Every hour they have a certain activity planned that the kids can participate in. They serve snacks at set times during the day, and you can buy a meal there if you need to for your child. The kids need to wear socks. There are a lot of toys, dress up clothes, a big slide, a theater, a playground outside and computers for older kids. They charge less than the local baby-sitters. They also have a preschool. Your child must be at least 2 years old to go to Kids Park, but they do not have to be potty trained. The staff is very friendly! And one of the best perks is that you don't need reservations! They are open until 10pm Monday through Thursday, midnight on Friday & Saturday, and 6pm on Sundays. They even had a few great deals for the Jaguars games. Once you register they send out coupons monthly, usually for 10% off one visit.
