Keystone Ski and Ride school at the mountain is for children between the ages of 3 and 15. Children who are still in diapers or pull-ups cannot attend Ski & Ride School. However, convenient daycare programs for children 2 months to 6 years old are available at the Keystone Children’s Center. Classes vary from private to group.
My 17 year old took snowboarding lessons and loved it. He had had lessons before, but I think he liked these instructors the best. They were young and he could really relate to them. He has a hard time meeting new people and making friends- these guys did a great job making him feel at ease. My husband took ski lessons and really enjoyed himself!! Each teacher had a different style and they both learned a lot.
2010 update: We went back to Keystone this year and all of skied this time. Our 4 year old skied the first day, but he really didn't want to go back. He was exhausted and I think a little bit of altitude sickness. But I skied for the first time in 5 years with a bad knee. The instructors were great and gave wonderful tips on improving technique while watching out for my injury. And my husband got to ski bowls!! Twice. Our teenager did a halfpipe on his snowboard and was thrilled.
