"So Much Fun"
Turtles, swimming, beach, beautiful ocean...we had so much fun! Maui was our best vacation to do. Weather was wonderful and there was never a lack of things to do. Kihei was wonderful in every way. This beach was across from where we stayed and is perfect for families. Pack a lunch and you'll have a perfect day.

"Fun with the Family"
You can’t miss Kalama Beach County Park, in the middle of town. Although the beach itself isn’t ranked among the island’s best, and it often disappears in the winter, it’s a great place for a family picnic. (Beaches often lose their sand in the winter, when strong currents pull it out to sea, but the sand returns in the summer.) The thirty-six acres include barbecue pits, pavilions, tables, basketball courts, volleyball nets, a soccer field, and a baseball diamond. Local families frequent the area, and the views of Haleakala looming behind you and Kahoolawe sparkling offshore are beautiful.
