Just Ducky takes riders on a Pittsburgh adventure by land and water. The vehicles are of amphibious design from World War II. The duck hits Pittsburgh's most important sites like the architecturally rich Business District, the deep culture of downtown, and through Three Rivers to get a view of the Pittsburgh skyline.
It's an hour long tour fully narrated, with a dip into the three Rivers of the city. Just remember to Quack!!!

This was a blast! A little pricy for a large family, but what a great tour. It gives you a different view of Pittsburgh than you get to see just by car or with one of the boat tours. The duck boats are WWII-era ampibious vehicles- a great learning opportunity for parents and kids alike. They even let you or the kids drive the boat down the river. The guides are very knowledgable and a lot of fun.
We love this tour. You board at Station Sqare and they load you onto old military vehicles turned into a tour "bus." They give you a great tour of part of the city, then drive right down into the water for a river tour! The kids (and I) love this part! The tour is a little expensive, but if you only do it once, well worth it! They do have big group discounts, and chaperones ride for free with large groups. Overall, a nice tour of town.
There’s a unique way to tour the city of Pittsburgh—by DUCK! Not the kind of duck with feathers, but a World War II military amphibious vehicle, a bright green bus-boat that carries passengers on a tour of Pittsburgh, on land and water. The only requirementfor passengers is that they quack. Hour-long tours depart from Station Square on Pittsburgh’s South Side.
It's a boat and a bus...what more could you ask for? Yea my son thought this was awesome! He was 6 at the time without the worries of an annoying little brother. Great way to see the Burgh, and learn a little about it's history. Station Square has some standard fair dining options as well, but the better spots to eat are further down East Carson (Try Mario's for late lunch pub grub, or Nakama for Japanese flambe!).
