"Awesome afternoon sightseeing cruise"

While I went on this 3 hour sightseeing cruise without the kids, I know that they would've enjoyed it. In fact, next time we are in Ft. Lauderdale, they will definitely be experiencing this for themselves. For $17.50 per adult, not only do you get a humorously-narrated leisurely cruise through the waters of Fort Lauderdale, but you get to explore a tiny little island where they have several parrots, monkeys, and best of all, an alligator show. They give you just enough time to see all the animals, buy a few souvenirs and watch the alligator show, which was the highlight for me. Then again, whenever you see a grown man pin down a gator and stick his head in the gator's mouth, the experience tends to stay in your mind...forever!! I know that my kids would love to see this.

There are dinner cruises available on this riverboat as well, but I have not been on that one yet. Nonetheless, this was a wonderful way to spend a few relaxing hours. Talk about feeling like you are on a tropical vacation!
