June Lake Loop

The June Lake Loop off Hwy 395 offers picture perfect vista and views as the base of the 10,909-ft Carson Peak. The 14 mile June Lake Loop has 4 pristine alpine lakes and attracts outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers.  
June, Gull, Silver, and Grant Lakes are renowned for fishing and stocked with trophy-size Alper's trout.  
There are several campgrounds in the area and families can rent boats and float tube rentals.  The Lakeside Village offers a variety of accommodations.  The most spectacular time to drive the June Lake Loop is in the fall when aspen burst into blaze of color.  In the Winter, June Mountain offers skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing.
