The Kids' Room is a fun place for all ages - the perfect place to play with  trains, curl up with a good book, explore the toy box, or find a movie to watch.  For pre-readers through young adults, there is something for everyone. Toddlers  can explore the active play space while parents can browse the Parenting  Collection. Varied programming throughout the year helps children explore  reading, writing, science, music, and crafts. Come explore the world - all at  the library!

"Fun with the Family"

The library’s special collections rooms hold a precious store of handwritten works by Emily Dickinson, as well as a comprehensive collection of papers and other articles owned by Robert Frost, another native of Amherst.
