"Johnson City Seasonal Lights Display"

Johnson City does this light festival every year.  There are different events throughout the holiday season.  They have snow one day and Santa throughout the season.  You can head to Johnson City in the morning and go to this really neat exotic game ranch: http://www.zooexotics.com/index.htm?bed_breakfast/cabin4/index.htm~main for a drive through then head over to Alamo Springs (closer to Fredericksburg) for a burger http://www.alamospringscafe.com/ they are the home of the "Cover Burger" meaning the one on the cover of Texas Monthly's burger issue.  YUM!  They have live music on weekend evenings.  Then head back to Johnson City to enjoy the lights.  Wonderful day trip!
